End User License Agreement

1. Service Grant

Enlazo Systems LLC (“Company”) grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Proximos API (“Service”) in accordance with this Agreement. Access to the Service is licensed, not sold.

2. Description of Service

The Proximos API is a read-only HTTP GET API that provides programmatic access to macOS version history, release data, and compatible hardware identifiers. The Service is hosted entirely on AWS infrastructure, including AWS Lambda, AWS API Gateway, Amazon DynamoDB, and Amazon CloudWatch. There is no downloadable or installable software component associated with this Service.

3. License & Access

Access to the Service is granted via a unique license key issued to one email address. The following terms govern license access:

• One license key is issued per email address.
• License keys are non-transferable and may not be shared, sublicensed, or redistributed.
• Your license key must be decoded from base64 before use as the value of the Authorization HTTP header in each API request. See Authentication for instructions.
• Lost license keys may be re-sent to your original payment email address upon request at enlazosystems.com.

4. Free Trial

Every new Proximos API license includes a 30-day free trial. No upfront commitment is required — your trial begins immediately upon purchase. The following terms govern the free trial:

• Only one free trial is permitted per email address.
• Cancellation of a trial at any time permanently forfeits that trial. Subsequent signup attempts using the same email address will be automatically converted to an active paid subscription.

5. Fair Use

Each license permits up to 100,000 API requests per month. This is a fair-use guideline, not a hard technical cap. Usage significantly exceeding this limit may result in a license review or suspension.

6. Educational Discount

Educational institutions are eligible for a 30% discount, reducing the monthly rate to $6.99 per month. The following terms apply:

• Discount codes may be requested through the Proximos website. Submitting a request with a .edu email address will result in a discount code being emailed to you for use at checkout.
• If you purchase a license using a .edu email address without a discount code, the Licensing Engine will automatically apply the educational discount to your account within 24 hours.
• Educational discount codes are honored on a continuing basis for the life of the subscription.
• The Licensing Engine performs daily audits of accounts with active educational discounts. If the billing email address is found not to be a .edu address, the discount will be automatically removed.

7. Restrictions

You may not:

• Attempt to reverse engineer, reconstruct, or replicate the underlying database or infrastructure of the Service
• Redistribute or resell access to the Service or your license key
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Interfere with or attempt to disrupt the Service’s infrastructure or availability
• Share your license key with unauthorized parties

8. Service Availability

Enlazo Systems LLC will make reasonable efforts to maintain Service availability. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable during maintenance windows or due to circumstances beyond our control.

9. No Warranty

The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• Accuracy or completeness of macOS release data returned by the Service
• Continuous or uninterrupted API access
• Compatibility with any specific application, workflow, or system

10. Limitation of Liability

Enlazo Systems LLC’s liability is limited strictly to the API service as described in Section 2. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any damages resulting from:

• Use or inability to access the Service
• Decisions made based on data returned by the Service
• Service interruptions or data delays
• Unauthorized access to your license key

11. Termination

Your license to access the Service terminates automatically if:

• Your subscription expires or is not renewed
• You violate any term of this Agreement

Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Service and your license key.

12. Updates to Terms

Enlazo Systems LLC reserves the right to update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States.
