Standard Removal with Built-In Uninstall

Proximos includes a built-in uninstaller accessible from the Settings window:
  1. Click the Proximos icon in the menu bar.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Navigate to the Help tab.
  4. Click Uninstall Proximos.
  5. Confirm the action when prompted.
The built-in uninstaller removes the Proximos application and its associated settings plists, runtime plists, and any user-level launch agents it has created.

Removal with Provided MDM Scripts

For managed environments, use the Proximos Uninstaller.sh script:
  • Jamf Pro: Settings → Scripts → deploy via Policy
  • Mosyle: macOS → Custom Commands
  • Addigy: Devices → Scripts → Manage
  • JumpCloud: Device Management → Commands
The uninstaller script fully removes:
  • /Applications/Utilities/Proximos.app
  • The system-level settings plist at /Library/Preferences/com.enlazo.proximos.settings.plist
  • Any managed preferences at /Library/Managed Preferences/com.enlazo.proximos.settings.plist
  • User-level runtime plists and settings plists

Removal of System Launch Agents with Provided MDM Scripts

To remove only the System Launch Agents without uninstalling the full app, use Proximos Remove Launch Agents.sh:
  • Jamf Pro: Settings → Scripts → deploy via Policy
  • Mosyle: macOS → Custom Commands
  • Addigy: Devices → Scripts → Manage
  • JumpCloud: Device Management → Commands
This script unloads and removes both the standard and headless launch agents from /Library/LaunchAgents/, stopping persistent Proximos operation without removing the app or settings.
